It’s a three-generation road trip. Me, my mom and grandma. Too bad I forgot to take some photos
We took the usual route, Tol Cipularang. No traffic jam, maybe because it was Sunday. Speeding up our beloved New Honda Civic was the most tempting option in our mind. So when we reached the 150km/h speed, my mom freaked out and saying things like “OMG! We’re too fast!”. And I was like “Mom! Slow down!”, “Mom! Look out!”, “Mom! We’ll crash that hill over there!” and “Mom! We’re gonna dieeEEEE!!”. Okay. So after the horror of my mom’s inhuman driving skill, somehow we managed to arrive at Bandung safely. It was only 1 hour and 10 minutes!
Our first stop was GKI Taman Cibunut, somewhere around vandeventer (did I spell it right?) to meet Auntie Heli and my cousin, Raymond. And then we went straight to the Hyatt Regency hotel for check-in. Soon after we arrived at the room, my mom, Auntie Heli and my grandma started to talk about stuff me and Raymond didn’t understand. You know, things like “besok mau acara keluarga di mana?” and “eh apa kabar si xxx? trus anaknya sekolah di mana?” or “kapan mo pulang menado?”.
Right after my second yawn, my mom told me to explore Bandung with Raymond. And of course I nodded excitedly.

I am planning to attend the wedding ceremony of the daughter of my father’s friend in Bandung tomorrow. I’ll go there with my mother and we will stay at Hyatt Regency for 2D1N and we’ll go there by car. Guess who will be behind the wheel
I like Bandung. Everybody loves Bandung. But hey, it’ll be so boring if we keep visiting the same places over and over again. Kartika Sari, Kampung Daun, The Peak, Dago, BIP, Paris van Java, Sweetheart, factory outlets, etc. I don’t wanna visit those places again. I want to go somewhere else. Well, I know I’m not that familiar with Bandung since I rarely go there, but I really want to go somewhere different.
Guess I need to buy a copy of Bandung travel guide. LOL.

I’ve always been on a diet since junior high. I don’t know why but my body’s bigger than any other girls at my age, even since when I was a baby! I remembered clearly, my mom said when I was 3 months old, she had to buy clothes for 6 months old baby. Geez.
I know I won’t find any problem if I live in Australia, US or Europe. Clothes with size 14 are scattered everywhere in the stores! In here, Indonesia, where all the girls are so damn petite, the common size is 0-12. OK. There are size 16-22 clothes too, but I think they were overpriced. The price is always more than Rp. 300.000,-. Extra size means extra money, huh? Whatever.

Recently, I’ve been busy studying japanese language online through LiveMocha.com. Yes, I’ve signed up for almost every language exchange websites out there. Unlike any other language exchange sites, this one also provides FREE courses! I mean, I’m not a person who loves to contact a stranger just to talk about “I want to learn japanese! I can teach you Bahasa Indonesia!” or something like that on Skype or live chat. It’s kinda.. embarassing. Hahaha.
There are many languages to learn in LiveMocha. English, Spanish, German, France, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Italian, Portuguese.. they even got a Hindi language course. But if you learn few languages at the same time, it’ll be so boring because the words, the sentences and the pictures are all the same in all courses, no matter what language you learn. It’ll be more effective if you focus on learning one language only.

Well, I’m bored with my old layout so I decided to create a new one. Didn’t go quite as planned - but I’m fine with it : )

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a GREAT movie. The perfect visualization of the world famous C.S Lewis’s novel. Pemandangannya keren, pemainnya juga berakting bagus semua. Even better than the first (modern) Narnia movie.
I know this will sound teenish, but who cares anyway: Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) is drop dead gorgeous! Ganteng luar biasa. I’m officially his fan now. If the ladies see this video and these pictures, I think most of them will agree with me.

Recently, I spent most of my time leisuring at shopping centers in Jakarta. Hahaha. I mean, from last thursday till yesterday (that’s 4 days in a row, gawsh!), I was doing some mallhoppin’ with my mother. Think about desperate ladies without husband, brother (and a nice boyfriend, of course). LOL.
