Nods

Mungkin mereka ngga akan pernah tau.

Ngga. Akan. Pernah. Tau.

Ada rasa yang entah kenapa menyesap jauh ke dalam tempat yang disakralkan setiap individu di muka bumi yang dipangku jagat raya nan tak kunjung kiamat ini.

Ada suatu percikan penuh kekhidmatan yang selalu diagungkan setiap manusia, suatu titik layaknya embun yang dinanti kehadirannya inci demi inci.

Mereka ngga akan pernah sadar.

Tapi untuk apa mempertanyakan eksistensi sesuatu yang sanggup hadir tanpa perlu muncul di tepian realita?

Mungkin aku sendiri yang tidak sadar.

Dan ya, aku sendiri yang tidak tahu kalau orang tidak perlu dipukul untuk merasakan sakit. Entitas bernama manusia tidak perlu dibelai untuk mengecap bahagia.

Entah apa yang bisa mengganjar sebongkah hati agar bisa benar-benar mengadu dirinya dengan segumpal otak, hanya untuk sekedar membuktikan dirinya layak bersanding dengan Kehidupan.

The government planned to block YouTube in Indonesia due to a movie titled Fitna. It’s a really controversial movie about Islam. I think almost every wise people (Moslem or Non-Moslem) will understand that Fitna is a bad way to counter the terrorist acts.

IMHO, banning YouTube for a single movie is not a ‘cool’ way to act as a government. Besides, it’s not an effective way and quite impossible because, well, we’re talking about the internet here. If someone uploads some videos on a particular site/server, I bet other websites (not to mention torrent files, etc.) already had (and published) those videos on their own server. Especially the ones with controversial contents. You can have a piece of information in just 10 minutes after someone uploaded that info to the internet. Block YouTube, we still have Veoh, Torrent, etc. We lost our access to the precious YouTube, yet the controversial videos are still hangin’ around the internet.

And also, we are not kids anymore. We know what’s bad and what’s good. And we’re mature enough to decide for ourselves whether that Fitna movie’s good or not rather than being influenced by it. The government should care more about some important matters like indonesian porn sites, for example. Or jalanan rusak. Maybe drainage and banjir too. And don’t forget the corruption, education and poverty issues. There’s still SO MUCH ELSE to be taken care of.

I hope the government can solve ‘Fitna The Movie’ issue in such an elegant way. Not by blocking YouTube, one of the best and reliable sources in the internet for education and entertainment. I must say, it’s definitely a pembodohan kalo YouTube bener-bener diblok. Banyak banget hal berguna di sana, tinggal pinter-pinter usernya aja untuk milih video yang bermutu/berguna atau ngga.

Okay. Now I wanna talk about Wordpress. I upgraded my WP to WP 2.5 two days ago. It was pretty confusing, saya kan baru pake WP selama 2 minggu! I’m not familiar with the back-up n upgrade stuffs. Well, the result’s pretty cool though. A brand new admin panel, but I don’t like the new color (Fresh). It’s too blurry. So I changed it to the Classic color. The layout’s more user-friendly, and it looks nice in my eyes

But the old bug’s still in… the “Adding new Blogroll categories: invalid xHTML“. There’s a solution for it though.

Use the “commenting out Line 402″ method:

'category_before' => $before_widget, 'category_after' => $after_widget,

but this time it’s not Line 402, but Line 433.

I hope they fix the bug on the next update/version.
