Diet Menu?!

Rise and Shine!
Drink 1 – 2 glasses of mineral water + unsweetened lemon juice
Okay, first of all, I have a gastritis. Drinking unsweetened lemon squeezed juice in the morning right after I wake up, even just a tiny pint, is suicidal. But I agree with the a glass or two of mineral water, it tricked my stomach by telling my brain that I’m already full.
Breakfast
Mixed fruit or unsweetened juice (except durian)
Oookay.. I love fresh fruits. But I’ve tried and I never get my stomach full by eating only fruit platter. And juice? No. I’ll be hungry again in an hour or so. And I don’t like durian anyway :(
or oatmeal + banana cubes
Hm. I’ve tried this once before, and I love it :) but still, I’m hungry again in the next 2 hours :(
or whole wheat bread + honey
Argh! Whole wheat bread! I’ve lied to you if I ever say that this bread is delicious. It is NOT. delicious. at. all. Plain, no milky aroma, no softness feel of a bread, etc. I of course prefer white bread, but okay, this one’s still edible if you put low calorie jam/butter/choco spread.
Snack (10.00 – 12.00)
Fruit juice / mixed fruits (without sugar)
Unsweetened fruit juice. That’s already popular. But mixed fruit without sugar? What do you mean? Rujak? I’m not a big fan of rujak anyway (sour and spicy), so I’ll go with the fruit juice. But heck, it’s quite expensive if you wanna buy it on a shop/juice kiosk, and I’m a bit lazy to create a home-brewed fruit juice :( *I’m hopeless, I know*
Lunch (12.00 – 14.00)
Rule of thumb: CARBOHYDRATE + VEGETABLES or PROTEIN + VEGETABLES
Red rice or potato + Cap Cay + Tofu or Tempe
Hey! I love this menu :D It’s cheap and easy to get in every canteen, restaurant and even warteg. Except for the red rice, though. It’s rare, and sometimes only expensive restaurant (or diet restaurant) serves this kind of rice. But, to tell you the truth, the red rice itself is really cheap if you buy it in traditional market. It’s better to cook my own lunch at home, I guess. Or I can exchange the red rice with a half portion of white rice. Or with a mashed potato.
Red rice or potato + Kangkung + Tofu or Tempe
Same as above. Although I prefer Cap Cay than kangkung.
Grilled Fish + Salad
Yay! Grilled Fish *drools* But no rice? This is gonna be tough. And I don’t like salad :(
Grilled Chicken Breast + Salad
Same as above. I want rice :(
Snack (afternoon)
Yogurt or Soy Milk
Love them both, so I’m not complaining :)
Banana
Love it!
Man, I love the afternoon snack menu :D
Dinner (18.00 – 20.00)
Soup or Vegetables + Chicken Breast
Salad + Fish
Seems delicious. Yum!
I’m planning to follow this menu (with some modification, of course, haha). Actually, the foods are quite good for a low fat or low calorie diet menu. Except for the salad. Maybe I should start looking for a healthy yet delicious salad. By the way, I got the menu from here.
